Noor | Part One

I had no idea that Shabd would become the beginning of something much larger. At the time, it was simply a poem that I felt compelled to write. Then came Fana, and with it, a journey inward that unfolded in ways I had never anticipated.

It was only much later that I realised these poems were never separate at all. They were bound by a central thread weaving themselves into a tapestry of the world within, and, in time, becoming chapters of the same journey.

What came as a beautiful surprise to me was the gradual culmination of these poems into a cohesive trilogy. I’m deeply humbled by your thoughtful feedback, heartfelt reflections, kind messages and the love you’ve shown Shabd and Fana. They’ve encouraged me more than you’ll probably ever know, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.

Today, I finally get to share the last chapter of this journey: Noor, a poem that invites us into the quiet remembrance of the light that has always lived within us.
