Who is the enemy?
Who are we fighting?
an invisible predator
it’s might and strength
has weakened the world
Is it a sign of impending doom?
nature unleashing
it’s mightiest weapon
weakening us and making us vulnerable
well, that’s COVID-19 for you.
Fear not because there’s hope
to beat this monster
stay at home
where we are safe and sound
a war against COVID
we have to fight
as it befuddles our mind.
We can beat it
trash it, but first
let’s conquer our fears
reclaim our power
as the demon is not outside
the four walls
but in the confines of our minds and bodies
targeting our immunity.
So let’s unite
let’s fight this pandemic together
be victorious by adhering to
protocols laid by our doctors
and our leaders, they wish well
and our PM cares
