Rescript Your Life – Reeta Gupta

Books are a source of knowledge! A store house of information that aims to bridge the gap between reality and imagination. Thoughts well-articulated carry immense potential and weight to transport and expand the mind of a reader to dimensions unexplored and untested. Especially, if it’s a book that makes one pause, reflect and ruminate on one’s life experiences. This book ‘Rescript Your Life: Awaken the Voice Within You’ written by author Reeta Gupta just does that!

The endless pursuit of understanding life’s challenges makes one easily succumb to the machinations of destiny, believing that we come with a pre-defined blueprint that can’t be changed or reversed. If we supplement this belief; it will absorb, envelop us into the deepest ebb of disdain, contempt for dignity of life and its purpose. The author weaves a meticulously, well-structured memoir along with well researched quotes from Upanishads and Vedas. These quotes are intricately imbued in the book for citing the author’s life experiences and how the author resurrected her life through faith in the inherent power that resides within each one of us.

THECO (The Chosen One) and AIGE (Am I good Enough) two beautifully coined phrases by the author infuse hope in the reader. The pulse of “As Within, So Without” resonated throughout the book. We are but a product of our own thoughts. Our environment is a beautiful expression, a reflection of what we feel inside. The tendencies of negative thoughts, assumptions and perceptions that we unconsciously harbor in our mind tend to manifest in our environment. Hence, it becomes imperative that we operate from a level of awareness so that we can manifest the life we want.

I really enjoyed reading this short self-help book where the crisp and coherent narrative flows seamlessly. The quotes from Vedas and Upanishads are highly informative. I would definitely recommend this book to those who want to re-structure and align their thought process primarily focused to bring clarity to the mind and empower self-belief.
